The exhibition title, “be-in”, has its roots in the counterculture of the 1960s, drawing from the historic multimedia installation Shrine, created by the collective USCO in 1966 at the Riverside Museum in New York.

In this exhibition, Sarah Ciracì investigates the very structure of our perception, drawing on the well-known theory of the holographic universe popularised by Michael Talbot and originally developed by the quantum physicist David Bohm and the neurophysiologist Karl Pribram.
