On Saturday, June 28th at 11:30 AM, the second floor of Palazzo Collicola in Spoleto will host the opening of Corpi d’aria, a solo exhibition by Stefano Cerio, curated by Stefano Chiodi. The exhibition will be on view until November 2 and is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2024, promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
The show features photographs and a video from the series Aquila (2019–2021) and Brenva (2023), where inflatable structures inhabit natural, symbolic, and deeply marked landscapes: the Abruzzo Apennines and the Mont Blanc massif.
Corpi d’aria evokes the ephemeral, unstable, and suspended nature of the objects portrayed, as well as that of the landscape itself—set in a precarious balance between photography, environmental and contemporary art, and a broader reflection on today’s transformations.
Brenva is also the title of Stefano Cerio’s first solo exhibition at WIZARD LAB, opening on October 8, where he will present new works from the eponymous series.
